On the island you can try dishes that you can’t find anywhere else. In addition to the rich offer of fresh fish and seafood, Brac lamb plays a very important role in the offer. Specific is the large number of different ways in which roast lamb can be prepared on a spit (whole or in pieces) or under a lid covered with ashes. We recommend the original island dish "vitalac" - lamb entrails that are stabbed piece by piece on a thin skewer, wrapped in a lamb handkerchief. Every dish is spiced with the inevitable extra virgin olive oil and you need to pour it with excellent wine "Plavac mali". As a dessert, we recommend a piece of indigenous cake "Hrapaćuša" - simply have to taste. We also recommend you to enjoy in Brac sheep cheese, "skuta" - cream cheese, "hrostula", "rozata" and homemade liqueurs.
